Ok, I know I have made a lot of posts, but I noticed something. MY ram moved, so the breach went from clicking to not clicking. But the place where it screws in did not move at all. WTF?

Have you been checking for the breech clicking with the gun gassed as Ken recommends?

yes. this was with it gassed. the 200 shots previous had it clicking. then, without the actual screw thing that you adjust the ram with moving, the ram moved so it did not click.

Are you adjusting the ram while its gassed?

ive read some posts where people have had this problem... some people are saying a good solution is putting a small o-ring in between the back of the ram and the backplate, so it doesnt back out. just what ive read
i think that was the problem tho, it showed no sign of backing out. thats what it sounds like to me.
tho i have no idea wtf to do with that prob

The oring wont help, cause the thing you screw in doesnt move at all. And yes, it was gassed. If it keeps happened i will talk to ken I guess.

dude, its obviously moving, unless u have some way of proving that the Hammer is moving farther back every time...which is impossible unless when u clicked it the hammer wasnt totally in in the back position.

except its not, cuz i looked, made a mark, shot, and it stayed on the mark, but wouldnt click any more. AND i know that it didnt mvoe 180 degrees cuz i only had to move it like 30 degrees and it was fine

so, after your own analysis, it cannot be the ram assembly at all...unless, of course, i am forgetting something.

lol
ok let me explain what happens
I adjust the ram with it gassed, and make a mark
after 200 shots it doesnt click any more, and i check it, STILL GASSED
the little screw part hasnt moved at all, but it wont click any more
I turn it about 30 more degrees and it is fine, so I know it did not turn 180 degrees back previously

Might just be a temperature difference if its cold where your playing. Your hammer could also be loose.

Are u sure its not clicking because of the breech pull pin. My friend kept on chopping with his halo and he told he got the click when aired up but when i looked at his gun it was clicking because the door was hitting the pin. I set the pin further back adjusted his ram forward and no more problems

Yeah that could definately be it too, make sure its actually clicking on the ram, not the breach pin. But I have found with mine if the gun gets really cold it doesn't seem to click as much as when its warm.

No its not. And it happened again. This time it made me chop. And like it doesnt unscrew at all, its like the hammer backs out over time. I guess I need to talk to ken crane or someone like him.

Snowfire, remove your ram completely and check the hammer. I kept having to adjust and it never seemed to stay for any length of time. Removed the ram entirely, and the hammer was freely spinning on the ram rod. The set screw had backed out allowing the hammer to freely spin. There was no sign of loctite on either the hammer or the set screw. Put a very small amount of loctite on the hammer and reinstall, then place one drop on the set screw and reinstall it. Hope this helps.

i had the same problem with my ram backing out enough for it to loose the click so i adjusted it with a hard click and put some blue loctite on both of the threads and let it dry 24 hours and havent had a problem
