How do you do it and how far in, should it click on the front peice or the back peice? i am confused about the whole thing, and also on the dwell if the light is on the bottom does that mean dwell is already down, i am not stupid i am just trying to be carefull before i mess with it. :stooges:

Follow THIS (http://www.angel-owners.com/showpost.php?p=301418&postcount=1) to adjust your Ram. They are real good instructions.

thanks but i still dont FULLY understand it i am more of a watching and learning type deal, I am gonna go up to Impact Paintball and have Jim look at it. :worthy:
watching someone do it is definitely the best way to learn
i thought i had my ram set correctly. i heard a click. but later found out that the click i heard was apparently not the click you are supposed to have. i only found this out when i took it to a proshop to have it fully serviced.
so going to someone who knows is your best bet

How do you adjust it wrong?
Not trying to sound like a dick or sometin but I just want to know so I wont do the same mistake
wrong just means that it has the chance of chopping (or a greater chance of)
adjusting it wrong would include being too far forward and too far backwards. if its too far back then the bolt will be too far back also. this allows a ball in the breach to roll backwards and let a small part of the next paintball stick into the breach. that ball gets chopped when the marker fires. if its too far forward you wont be able to open/close your breach(depending on whether the breach was opened or closed when you adjusted the ram). if you adjust it too far forward while the breach was closed and attempt to fire, the balls may not load in the breach correctly because the front of the bolt will be blocking them.
honestly, since i havent had my ram set correctly yet (mine was too far back) i couldnt say anything more than that it should make a clicking noise when you close the breach. mine is at the proshop right now being worked on.

I found if you dont have a tool kit a mini set of needlenose pliers works well to adjust it. O dont forget that sometimes your ram will slide back and wont click anymore. If this happens just put an o ring on the ram or use mild locktite.
