Has anyone had the fly conversion done to their dark angel? In particular the 2k or 2k1 body that has the teardrop milling down the body?

I think I saw a picture of someone that had it done...don't remember where I saw it though.....are you questioning if it can be done or how it will look or something?

just that it can be done. I figure as long as it can be done, the MT wont do me wrong. BTW its a ver2 dark angel.

I have a v2.1 Dark LCD. I was wondering the same thing. I'd love to get the eye conversion for it but I'm already trying to sell it. Got too many angels in the gear bag.

i had my 2k Dark DEMON'd, which is a version of the ACE + DM4 board mod done by Warped Sportz ($275). i know for a fact that it can be done, Ken Crane himself does the FLY conversions for $300 for the LCDs i believe.
i like my Demon MOD, but i find WS service really "BAD" to put it nicely. and you have to ship to LA. so if your East Coast, or anywhere for that matter, PM Ken Crane and he can probly help ya out and get your gun FLY'd

I'd prefer to get the fly conversion for my dark. I just haven't seen one done so I'm skeptical because the milling on the dark is different than most LCDs so I want to make sure that it's compatible.

he drills two holes into the side of the gun below the feedbeck, mills a small portion out for the wires to go thru so he can run them thru the frame to the battery. very simple milling, almost nothing to do. with the FLY you keep your LCD screen, as well as get nice eye covers, unlike my DEMON mod, which gets ugly globs of apoxy + a nice view of a 9volt instead of a working LCD
if you look in the BUY/SELL/TRADE forum, im sure you could find a few FLY'd LCDs that had pics in their threads
