05 Speed Article in January Facefull!

There is a very nice article on the 05 Speed in the latest facefull. There is also a DVD in the issue. I havent watched the DVD yet but the article is very well written and detailed. To make a long story short they pretty much say that the 05 Speed is the fastest gun in the world to date and they explain why...


I dont know if this is old news or not but I thought it would be worth everyone checking out.

I can not find a link... Facefull does not really have a lot of their stuff from the magazine on the website. I guess you'll have to check it out in the magazine if you want to read it.

I read the article today also. It didn't have a lot that I hadn't already heard or read on AOG but it was a killer advertisement for the gun!

It did explain in depth why the 5peed can cycle so quickly. "Fastest cycle times out there".

Other than that the issue was crap. Even the customary nudie pics were crap..... :boobies:

The DvD is "egh". Well, if you enjoy Team Arsenal then you will like it. Oh, and they whoop the snot out of Dynasty. (I throughlly enjoyed that.)

Anyhow, the Speed '05 article makes mention of removing the rubber o-rings to allow your marker to fire faster, per se. It also says something to the effect of doing the magnet mod as well.

All in all this Facefull was worth the buy.

There are rubber o-rings behind the trigger that were put in to slow the gun down a bit for tournament play. My 5peed is faster than I am still so I'm not going to screw with them yet.

yes it would have, i was getting a ramping dm4 which was alreading being traded for a dark timmy. then i sat there holding my 05 speed going, "wtf am i thinking". i then contacted both parties and backed out. very happy now. :)

ya, size of the dm4 was really what turned me off. i kept asking dm4 owners and they all said it wasnt that big, or that you get used to it and stuff like that. good to hear it from an ex-dm4 owner.
