Fly G7 board

having seen the joy division fly with an 05 trigger frame and board - which looks sweet - im wondering that

As the software on the G7 is updated fly software (as i believe)

is it then possible to buy the trigger frame and board for a G7 and stick it on a Fly (with minor milling)

I love my fly but I have an 05 and I personally prefer the new trigger system and unlike the 05 board you wouldnt have to sacrifice the extras you get with a fly (i.e screen) but would get the bonus of a great trigger and software thats supposedly better than 3.7

Im buying the g7 when it arrives but id also love to upgrade my fly aswell .

any ideas ?

not sure yet... its still in its infancy (g7)...once it is released im sure we'll know, but you wont be able to buy an 05 speed frame or a g7 frame, unless someone personally sells it

if you use the minireg setup off the new speeds with the speed grips you don't have to do any milling. Also the g7 software will be able to be put in your fly board. So what is the point.

Just to let you know i know the kid alex that had that done and if you read what i wrote i said if you use the trig system with the speed 05 minireg you don't have to mill anything. If you use it with the old reg and you have to mill the back of the minireg asa or flash tank

also until the g7 boards come out the only way to do that mod is to use the speed 05 board wich isn't as good as the fly board.

i have shot an 05 speed before and after i got my gun back from ken (he bent the leaf spring) the triggers feel exactly the same...

I have the mt mag mod done to my gun and it shoots ropes. I had my leaf spring taken out and attached to the bottem of the mt trigger. So basically it is the same as the speed 05, except i like it better. The mt trigger is made with a threaded hole on the bottem so it can be done to any gun with a mt trig.

that is what russ from the service center calls a true magnet mod job. Most of you people with the mag mod just have the leaf bent real close to the board so it feels light. The real way to do it is to take the leaf off. It cost more but it is way better.

what i am saying is that it is better then the stock setup. And it has a lighter pull than the speed 05 mag trig

i put the mag mod on my fly trigger and can shoot lazers with it - but i still shoot faster with the 05 trigger
I just prefer it ,i like quite a long pull and the 05 helps this with no side to side movement .as for the mini reg :cool: that would make life easier but as i said at the start i dont want to sacrifice the extras i get with the fly(especially intellifeed for my halo) by putting in an 05 board so if its feasible to buy a g7 trigger frame, mini reg and board (which will probably be expensive) then i think it will be worth it .

did the guy with the fly/05 remove the battery packs and stuff ,was it just a straight swop frame for frame? id love to do it its just the halo thang.
