speed battery

I recently bought a used speed with a chaos board and eyes. I have no idea what type of battery it uses, its wrapped in black tape or something. Im wondering if the battery would be the original that came with the marker, or if i can just swap it for a regular 9volt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my gun is at kens shop being worked on and iam curious, is the 9v battery in the grip for the eyes? how long do they last?

Um please dont' listen to paintballjc chaos ace pwns just not as hard as fly in turn not as hard as predator II. If it's a mysterious battery the shape of a 9v then thats what it is.

if you get the MT mod, then your gun will still use your stock 4.8v battery. if you have an aftermarket board such as a Pred2 (or chaos, or any other) than you'll probably use a 9v, since it's a drop in mod, it needs to be universal.
