mini-reg removal

Here's an email I got from angel on quick way to remove LPR. thought I'd post it here. It explains how to remove the LPR once you get to the internals. Probably best if you read from the bottom of this post up at this point.

Hi Al,
I will let you into a little trick of the trade, we use the pull rod
that you use to open the breech, simply unscrew the pull knob from the
rod and screw the rod into one of the holes located in the mini reg
insert and then pull it out using the rod.

you responded so quickly I'll ask another question.

owner's manual on page 12 discusses mini-reg removal. at the step
where it
says to "insert a M3 screw inot he threaded hole in the bottom of the
spool
and gently extract the spool", I get lost. I completed all steps prior
to
this one. I don't see a M3 hole in which to insert a M3 screw.

I have the LPR removal tool but I can't figure out how to use it to get
the
LPR out.

Hey Al - if you have a pair - a pair of Circlip pliers work reall well for me. Insert them into the holes squeeze them together and extract. I have done this on two 5peed's so far.
