Ok i just got a new DustBlack Angel Speed :bowdown:

And iam just wondering if it will chop havent recieved it yet but it will be here soon. Just wondering if it will chop it just had sensi put into it and it was tuned by badlands vancouver who have a master tech i believe. Just wondering no offense too the master tech your work is amazing but will it chop, iam running an egg also how do i run a halob or empire b on this gat with out it chopping i was told that you have too sand down the sensi rod till it barely pertrudes, also would the soft touch a4 bolt be a good upgrade?

it shouldnt chop at all!
to run a halo, just install it. however if you do run into problems with the halo causing chopping, then make sure your detents are stiff enough to stop double feeding, however they should slide freely without binding. and you can turn down the halos sensitivity (a search here should yield good instructions on how to do this).
yes some people do sand down the sensi rod, and in theory i agree that it should help, however ive never actually tried it.
and a soft touch bolt is a great upgrade (actually i think it was my first upgrade)

It just had sensi put in it??? They come stock with sensi...anyway yeah what Luzrd said is dead on. I ran a Halo B on my speed and it worked amazing, not one single problem ever....

your speed shouldn't chop, especially if it was just tuned by Trevor at badlands. as with all markers, they're all different and each one performs a bit differently, so there are no absolutes. you have to see how your marker works, posting a thread asking us if your marker will chop seems pretty worthless.

and yes, the softfaced bolt is a great addition.

Well basically i posted too see if it might chop dude, my gun will be here monday or tuesday and i dont want it too screw up at all also could i get some more help with my halo problem will it break the sensi and do i need to sand down the rod so it barely pertrudes?

Well you need to get your gun first and try it out, that will let you know a lot about how it shoots and wheather it is chopping. They halo should be fine on the speed. All of the people that have shot and still shoot speeds at my local field use halo's and no one has a problem. None of us have ever sanded out sensi rod down, and once again never had any problems. This is probably about 35-40 Speeds in total. So when you get your gun throw your halo on there and shoot it. If you have problems then you might need to do some tuning. If you do chop with a halo switch and an egg and see how it does. If the egg works then it is probably your ball detents are too soft and you need to get stiffer ones. If you are having problems with an egg as well, then there might be some other problems you will have to look in to. Like I said before I got my speed and put a halo on it right out of the box and it shot perfect not one problem...

i suggest not screwing around with anything thats not broken. if your runnin a halo and it works flawlessly then dont bother sanding anything down. take one step at a time. if you break paint, change the sensativity, breaks again, look at your detents. small corrections will lead you to trouble free operation.

i chop with my angel but thats cuz i dont have sensi in it (didnt come with load sensor) and my halos sensors dont work so it just keeps jamming balls down. but ur gun shouldnt chop.
