anything is good man..i just use some dirty old thing on a stick thats been laying around forever. it's soft, and clean..so it doesnt scratch the barrel. but anything is good man. a chopstick and paper towel can even work.

i got this thing from kens shop called the battle swab, its a fuzzy looking thing glued on a wooden stick, the description sounds old school but its the best squeegie ive ever used. makes your barrel SPOTLESS if you break a ball!

I use Extreme Rage Battle Swabs, Redz Battle Swab Pack (One folding one straight), and of course the best ones I have used are Heps battle swabs.

i bring a swab with me on the field, so i can just jam it down the barrel to get a basic clean and keep playing. then when i get back to the car (or wherever the non-playing area is) i take off the barrel and clean it well with a squeegee and towel. i've heard good thing's about Hep's swabs, i was thinking about getting some myself.

They are great...and with a lifetime warranty you can't complain... Yeah I carry 2 battle swabs with me on the field, and like welted said when you get back to the staging area just take the barrel off and clean it with water and dry it off...

i just bought some of Hep's swabs last night (inspired by this thread)... i so hyped about them, to the point that i may be getting irrationally excited about swabs. :swing:

Ok well being new too the angel family i dont know what works the best on them but what i found works completely awsome for other guns (e cockers, shockers) has been Redz Battle Swabs, and a stiffi .692 barrel the stiffi basiclly cleans itself out within 2 shots and i stand by them no matter what. And the battle swabs last for ever i have even washed them like 20 times too get them brand new clean cuz i find them better you just dry them with a hair dryer or like me iam lazy on the way too the field scince my car is broken i just set it inside the defrost i broke off the little grill so i can set it right in there and it worked freakin perfect not wet at all LOL but anyway thats my 2 centz!

i read somewhere a press release that said that the strands of the swab can snag the CF strands at the edges of the porting and bend them into the barrel shaft, leading to barrel breaks... i'll see if i can find it...

That sucks....glad I don't use a stiffi cause swabs clean barrels out the best in my opinion when your on the field...

yep....if the carbon fiber gets snagged and torn it will ruin the barrel.
