last night i was put a drop on my gun and the srews i was using where to long...... can you say ouch!! now the data link port is messed. So my guestin is do i have to pay the $150 of a new board or can i still use the borad exchange for $15. It still works fine but i was going to send my board to some one and get a new one but now do i have to buy a new board?

I have done that with my old angel and I had to get a new board from warped!

most likely have to buy a new board seeing as how it cannot be reprorammed but needs rebuilding

yeah I think that "user error" or in this case "user caused damage" means you need to actually purchase the board, but the best way is to call one of the sponsors, and simply tell them that you goofed up, and ask what you need to do at this point. Or you could wait til Tuesday evening and hop into the tech chat, and ask whichever tech is there, and they should be able to tell you pretty easy.

When I sent mine to WS I think it cost me $50 to $75 to have it replaced. But I went through a store that was sponsering my team at the time.

i did that with my 2k2 but i realized it and just messed up the datta port a little but i took some tweezers and straitened it up. i did hit the board but not bad and my burst mode doesnt shoot right but i only shoot semi so i dont worry about that. every thing else works fine.

the gun works fine so i will start to worry about it when it stops working and them i will call someone to get it replaced. Its going to be only $75 i thought it was going to be $100. thanks
