I recently picked up an 2k1 lcd. When I aired it up and dry fired it functioned perfectly. However when I went to chrono the marker the first shot would be 320 FPS the second 280 and the third 260. I figured the reg was prolly shot but I tried adjusting the velocity to see if that would help anything.

While I was adjusting the velocity the marker developed a leak. After I would snap off a few shots it would leak for a few seconds then stop. The leak sounded like it was coming from the hammer area.

I pulled the maker apart to see if it was an oring and to clean and lube everything. I didn't find anyhitng out of place or any bad orings. When I re-assembled the marker it now will not fire. When I pull the trigger the hammer moves slowly and does not seem to have the enough force to fire the marker.

I have pulled the marker apart a couple more times to see if I put it back together wrong but I can't find anything. I also tried 2 different regs from guns that work so its not that.

Any help would be appreciated.

its leakign out of the little hole thats in the breech? im going to go with a broken valve stem - that happened recently to mine - give it to a tech and they can fix it pretty quick, possibly a 1 day turn around depending on how swamped the guy is.

You just need a new exhaust valve
(valve stem), should only cost about 8 bucks from your local shop or order one off line and you can put it on yourself. Would save you from having to spend money on shipping your gun out.

Well I replaced the valve stem and the angel is firing normal again, I have not had a chance to put paint across a chroni so hopefully that problem is solved by a new reg. Thanks for the help!

Hopefully everything should work fine, for you now. Glad to hear that you got her working again though.
