Hey guys...new here..like this site
i currently have a regular black angel speed, mac dev 04 conquest, ccm reg, halo b, freak- and im kinda getting tired of the speed, and i was wanting to get a new angel.
I wanted to know if i should go with 05 speed or the Fly.
I really love the fly, but have never shot an 05 speed. I know most ppl will say the fly, but im wandering do i really need all that LCD junk. MONEY IS NO CONCEARN. Please reply with suggestion.. thanks alot

i forget, how much will G7 be, i was thinking around 1600, if its that i might just get the 05 speed- money shouldnt be a problem, but if i could get a fly for like 1200 when G7 is out i would just get the Fly

You might want to check your facts on that one. With the improvements on the features, it's far from a speed.

the solenoid is in a dif place, the reg has like buttons on it, and it has newer and faster softwear- 3.5 is what in flys 3.7 is what is in the G7, im not sure of the 3.5 and 3.7, but i know it has faster softwear....i might just wate for the G7, but if i can get a fly for 1200 now, i might just do that, cause i can always save my speed, and fly, adn sell em both, and get a G7

and i wouldnt fly my speed, not worth it- 400$ isnt it...i could just sell my gun with a tank and get 700 and then pay the extra 500-600 for a fly. I would just be paying liek 200$ more, and get a lighter gun, with the awsome trigger, and itd be a cool fade

Basicly I would either get a Fly or wait for the G7. You can get Fly's used for about $950 now, you will probably be able to get them even cheaper when the G7 comes out....Just my opinion though.

The Laser eyes and other stuff really doesn't change the gun, just added little things to make you pay 1500 for a Speed with an LCD.

Thats not true. They changed alot of things. They have changed the LPR pressure so it can operate on 25psi(the guy said this at the WDP booth :) ) You dont need to use a volumizer anymore because the pressure is so low. Lazer eyes are included. I also think the guy said the mini reg is a bit different. The bolt in the G7 is longer to control the breech being closed... how this works is a nob in the back pushes the ram forward, which pushes the bolt forward which locks the breech. The selenoid is now turned on its side, so that means the gun is now alot smaller. There, of course, are software updates, like always. The G7 also comes with an LCD screen. They made lots of changes :)

After posting this and having people give you solid reasons on the differences of the 2 guns, you post it again. Your knowledge of the G7 is far from par. Why don't you try reading the G7 thread to get your FACTS straight.

Don't worry, I've read my G7 facts.

The selinoid in a different spot doesn't change performance at all. Having laser eyes does nothing. The new mini-reg is the same as the 05 speed with grips on the front. And lowering the LPR is nothing a Newton valve kit couldn't do.

So I am going to tell you again. The G7 is an 05 Speed with an LCD and other worthless features.

You see, this is why a lot of people don't like angels, they don't live up to the hype that people make with the gun. In reality, this gun will shoot no better than an 05 Speed or a fly. Just people make up hype like the gun is going to shoot 'in theory, 62 bps', when in reality the gun probably won't be able to shoot over 31. Just because the board can activate 62 times in a second doesn't mean anything. Same with timmies having the physical cap at 22 bps when the board can go up to 30.

It's all hype.

I would have to agree wit barber...the G7 isnt going to be great...wow the noids in a new spot...who cares how does that help? LCD yeah my fly has it...so what? You should just buy a A4fly cause the g7 isnt going to be as awsome as some think itll be.

Well I guess time will tell how well the G7 does, and we will see when it comes out if it is the real thing or not. I personally believe that it will be worth the money as most of WDP's guns are well worth the money. Like people have been saying this is a prototype you never know what else they might be doing to it....

lol on to your original ? i would go with the 05speed i dont think you will be disapointed, you get the mag trigger and a little slimer look, plus its less money if you want to add parts off the g7 or whatever. your going to loose out on the lcd; but you already have an led so you prob wont care.
