Do you have to have a toolkit to remove the LPR to clean it?

Well I got the piston out, but I couldn't get the body out. I'm wondering if you can just take out the ram and push the valve and LPR out the front...

you dont HAVE to, but to avoid breaking anything you should.... all you need is the proper threaded screw

Would my idea work? When you say proper threaded screw....what are you screwing it into? I used one of the sight rail screws to get the piston out.

So is all you use that screw for is getting the piston out? How do you get the main body out? If I take the ram out the back can I push the valve and LPR out the front from the back? Thanks.

dilly man 2 here's what I did: Follow the steps in the manual to remove the valve. Remove the ram. Pull out the valve pin, then use a wodden dowel or something similar to push the valve and LPR body out (I couldn't get the body out using a hook like the manual says). Pretty easy really. Then just clean out the body tube and all the parts, then lube them up and put them back in.
