Mode problem

Hi,
I just got a used 2K1 C&C Angel LCD. My problem is, when I try to change it to a diffrent mode other then mode B, it won't change. How do you get it into mode A, full auto or any other mode.

Your board is locked up(also known as Euro B). The way around it is to use the Data Link.

Do you know were I can buy one of these Data Link, and are they easy to use?

Paintballgear.com has them for 79.99. Yes they are easy to use. Its a click of a button to tune your angel.

I have the same problem. Bought the Datalink but still can't change the mode. After retrieving the data from the Angel LCD the mode won't go out of B. Any suggestions?

I did try the Sexy Angel Software, but could not get it to communicate. Rebooted in case the other software locked my com port and tried again but no luck. The Data Link Software and the Blue LCD software works fine on the same com port.

Seems like it must be locked somehow, but not sure how. Used the gun before and could set it manually.

1 - open hyperterminal it comes with windows under communications
2 - select new connection.
3 - give it a name (any will do)
4 - select the last icon (this is were people are going wrong, the one showing a flask and atom symbol
5 - connect using Com1 (not modem)
6 - use these settings: bits-9600 Data-8 parity-NONE Stop bits-1 Hardware- None
7 - select caps
8 - hit enter
9 - type in NICKELS2
10 - hit enter

(message on the screen tells you if it has unlocked the Angel )

I can connect but only see **** for my characters I type in. No message back about unlocking the angel. Am I missing something? Should the astricks be there and after typing in NICKLES2 I press enter?

I might try a WIN98 box tomorrow, the Icons are not the same in XP.

Vinrock, that is for only Y and Z modes.
