Adjusting ram without Circlip Pliers?

Hey all, got my first Angel yesterday, as sort of a backup gun/fixer-upper project (2k2 LCD). I don't own circlip pliers, but I thought I'd read somewhere that there was a way to adjust the ram without them? I could be mistaken. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

u can do it ghetto style with a pair of needle nose pliers, but itll scratch and nick up the holes

Two allen keys will work also, but the best way to do it is with the tool out of the Angel Tool Kit or the Angel A.I.R. Rebuild Kit.
