Alright fellas i have had my adrealin since the middle of february, its a 2k1 and i have done customized the gat to my liking such as the dwell set at 14, the MROF set at 17, the trigger adjusted, a4 soft face bolt. I went out this past wednesday to play and i was chopping like crazy, that day used a .693 and .695 insert on my freak to try to get minimal chopping, it didnt work. After that, i lubed the whole gat and all the o-rings and i dont know if that helped i havent shot it since thelube job. I currently have 2 shims in the LPR, i know stock it comes with like 4 i dont know if that is the problem i have a shim kit on order.

Other than that the halo was on the gat and i had the maxxy running between 400 and 700psi and i was getting mad range on the chrono. When i had it on around 400psi give or take it was spiking at 279 and lowballing at 188, i was thinking that i should run the maxxy as low as possible with still keeping it under the 270 field max.

I have been reading a lot about this jam bolt and i was wondering if that would be the solution. I checked how far back some midnight paint falls in my breech and it falls back about 3-4 mm from the detent, i adjusted the ram all the way forward and the paint barely moved position

PLEASE HELP!

Do you only have one detent? Is it in good working condition? Is your ram stroke perfectly matched to the soft-face? Snap Rinng tension okay? Also what was the weather like this weekend and what paint were you using?

yep one detent recently replaced, its a wdp detent, i am currently working with a couple other peopleto get my ram stroke and snap ring adjustment perfect, i played at an indoor field bout 70 degrees

What paint were you using though? You could easily be double feeding with the Halo, try an Egg on and see if that helps.

i have used all sorts of paint with my adrenalin anywhere from draxxus midnight, blaze to evil and most all rps paint, i dont think it is the hopper because i had the same prob with a y-board egg and intellifeed revi

Evil and RPS are bad ideas with an LCD. You want to stay away from brittle paint. Try some really thick shelled paint and see if your problem is solved (marbs, and any zap besides Chronic 420 will be great).

Anyways get the ram adjusted, see if your detent isn't screwed in a bit too far, try thicker shelled paint, and we'll see if that works.

I could never use a Halo on my Adrenalin LCD... Because it is force fed, it pushes the second ball in the stack into the chamber and as the bolt comes forward, it cuts the bottom 1/3rd of the ball clean off. This continues and goops up the entire gun. I understand you said it was happening with the other loaders, but this is all I can think of.

P.S. it is a gun or a marker... not a gat

*update*
in talking with other angel owners i recently fixed the snap ring and ram stroke adjustments, i popped on my intellifeed revi and the gat and hopper worked fine, to only thing that concerned me was that the last ball or two that i shot broke....only a small portion of the front of the bolt had paint on it, but i figure it wasdue to the age of the paint, btw it was midnight.

I actually have 2 halos that i used, the one that i have used most recently and getting poor results was a green z-code which i learned after i shot with it last that one of the fins on the drive cone had broke. The other halo which i used about a month ago worked flawlessly, but i havent checked what kind of board is in that one.

i have had the intellifeed revi since i had the gun and i initially had feeding and chopping problems with it but since i replaced the bolt and modified some settings it seems to working perfectly, i am going out to the field tomorrow so i will keep you guys updated on my results

if your breaking paint try setting the dwell higher cuz i broke paint set the dwell to 15 and set the ram so that i half to tip the whole gun back and jiggle the bolt forward so the bolt pin will drop into the slot. I was told that the very tip of the slot is where the pin is supposed to be. After doing this my angel mows.

You have a couple problems here. You are getting rollback from the Halo. A A4 Softfaced bolt will fix this problem.

Buy running your Max-Flo at such a low pressure you are undermining the operating pressure of the LCD, this is causing most of your velocity problems. Turn that thing up to at least 650 and set your LPR to 85psi with the velocity screw on the minireg at the half way point.

Your gun should work perfectly fine now.
