My local proshop has an abandonded Angel Speed. I could probably get it really cheap. This Speed is trashed. It needs from what I know is a new battery, charger, 14 way sensi (taken out), and a breach pull nob and a barrel. I would also have to buy a new tank or I would have to mod the minireg or get a new reg. As far as the LPR, valve, or ram go I have no idea. I looks like there is mud in the ram side of the marker and the breach (right around the sensi) looks the like owner wrapped his bolt in sandpaper and shot it. There is a Pure Energy THOR Regulaor/Cradle that I would also replace. I probably would spend around $320 just in replacement parts to get it hopefully working - that is as long as the suspected problems are the only problems.

What is everyones thoughts on this? Would it be worth my time and money or not?

I did have a Speed once and liked it a lot.

I wouldn't' think so. Speeds in excellent condition are goin for 500-600 on AngelOwners. So I'd just get one for that price rather than try and fix that one, spending more than you'd have to

Don't waste your time on a trashed gun. Poor Speed, it didn't deserve it  Unless you are looking for a nice project and have the proper funds, go for it. Value-wise, it's not worth it.

if you can get it for free, then it MAY be worth your attention. however as you say there is no guarantee that there arent any hidden problems. and with probably $400 to (maybe) get it going, i would have to say its most likely a money pit.

however as Crazy_Train said if "you are looking for a nice project", and dont mind the cash flowing into a potentially unuseable SPEED then go for it.
of course i could always use a free parts gun/speed project, just incase it needs a home = }~
