For anyone interested, there's a new field opening up in Santa Clarita on January 15, 2003. It's called Santa Clarita Indoor Paintball - The Proving Grounds.
It's an astro-turf / sup air field. They are planning on having a paintball league. Based on what I was told, it's 5-man, $149 per person and it lasts 8 weeks. I'm not absolutely sure, but I believe you play one day a week, four games that day. Thus, after seven weeks, you will get 28 games total. If you make it to the finals (8th week), there will be additional games but I'm not sure how many. Once the eight weeks are over, another league will start up.
The field is extremely spectator friendly. If you live nearby and have the time, come out and check out the field and all it has to offer. It opens on January 15, but I believe the Grand Opening is sometime in March. The phone number is 661-733-5462.
