Ok im not exactly a pro... as a matter of fact im just learning.

But I remembered a guy was photoshopping pics of the 05 Speed a while back, I did a couple random colors cus I just learned how to do it, of the G7.

SOrry I did em realy fast cus im impaciant and couldnt take the time to trace it carefully. But they look alright :)

Im not creative though so give me suggestions lol.

I used the dodge to turn it white. Then highlighted the shine. I airsprayed the shine with dots of yellow then smudged it to blend in.

I would use the magic wand to extract the G7 from the picture put it on a white background, then use the magic wand to select the barrel and make it a solid color, then apply the gradient

You can only apply textures to a selection.

1) Using the lasso tool or the magnetic lasso, select the area you wish to have the texture applied.

2)Cut the Selection and open a new document using the default size, this usually corresponds to the size of the previous selection.

3)Paste the selected components onto the new document. Do whatever you need to do to select the are you want to apply the texture to.

4)once you've got the area selected go to pull down menu
-> "filter" -> "texture" -> "texturizer" there will be a little pulldown menu that lets you select premade textures or load your own, select Load Texture and find any texture of a lightning bolt.

5) Play around with the scaling and Relief sliders to your desired pattern then press ok. Your pattern or texture should now be applied.

I hope this works. I would do it myself but you're doing such a good job I would not want to ruin it for ya. Keep Practicing. Splashes are a bit harder to do but the same principles apply.

It didn't die for me. I listen to what I like...not what MTV tells me to. As for rap....can't stand it...but it's forced down my throat everytime I turn on the radio or TV.

FYI: There are more metal bands in existence now than in the 80s. Just because it's not on MTV doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Change the channel one in a while.

no filters i just use what was on the program i dont understand all that extra stuff. I just take the lasso tol and set it to the straight edge thing, then trace the gun. Then copy it to a new layer, and use the gradient 2 color tool thing on the linear burn setting. Then usually make it like 75% transparency and then auto contrast.

Ok here is my pathetic attempt to use paintbrush 97 on a work pc that doesn't like to save things as jpeg to make a 45 framed g7. I didn't change the grips or anything because paintbrush doesnt allow you to rotate the picture any less then 90 deg... so anyway use your imagination with this one lol...
