If anyone has a halo with rip drive and a V-board, turn ur gun on, take off the sensi, put the MROF all the way up and rip it.... does it break? i borrowed my friends halo with no rip or v-board and it did pretty good, but i still chopped a couple balls (and i cant afford chops in turneys). soo my plan is, if this works, ill take off my sensi and save 400 bucks for a conversion because the no sensi and fast hopper trick shoots just as fast as a conversion. Also if no one has this setup, would a rip drive and v-board be a huuuge difference in performance than a stock halo b? thanks

Rip Drive doesn't make a huge difference as far as performance, but it's nice to have if the loader dies on you...the V35 is quite a step up from the stock Z Board as well.
if you get the v35 board the hopper will feed fast eneough so you wont really need to turn off the sensi, and will eliminate chops from slow feeding/out shooping your hopper. planeteclipse have got the v35 boards in stock now, and they only cost 29quid!

hold on a sec, ok.. you know how when you take sensi off and rip it, the gun shoots allooot faster than having the sensi on? Well i was hoping that i wouldnt have to spend 400 bucks on the conversion, instead i was looking for a rediculously fast hopper so i dont need to use sensi and my gun will rip! are you guys saying that if i get a halo with rip and v board and leave my sensi on, my gun will shoot like my gun with sensi off? this would be alot easier if someone had a halo with a v-board!!

if your hopper is feeding fast enough your gun should shoot the same with sensi on and off

make sure u dont have ur sensi set on a mode that will give a delay, even with sensi on it should shoot just as fast as with it off.

yeah, put it on mode 1 or 2, those are the faster modes...

well when i turn my sensi off i think it just might be more consistent and therefore sounds alot faster... i have a egg with z-board, should i get something faster?

just get a halo b with v35 board and you should be fine, getting the rip would be good too just incase you ever chop and the cone stops spinning or your batteries die you can manually spin the cone...

I got an egg w/ zboard. You should be fine with that, unless you want a Halo. Before I got my gun fly'd I always played with sensi off and only chopped once. Thats only because I forgot to turn my hopper on.

pballer, ur MROF must not be all the way up. either that or my fingers move way too fast. i dont know what the problem is.. whenever i take the sensi off ill maybe rip about 20 balls and then break one. My friends halo (no rip or v-board) got me about 100 balls then broke one... And theres no way iam going to decrease my MROF, i want this thing to crank.

I would not try turning your sensi off AT ALL!! I had a V35 Halo and it broke every other ball that came out of the gun when i had sensi off (before i got the conversion). I now have an angry board in my halo and thats not even fast enough not to break on a speed with no sensi. I have eyes now, so i cant test it for you.
Also, put the gun on sensi MODE 2. I had a long conversation with a mastertech one day, and when they tune a gun or test guns, they have them set on MODE 2.

ok, so i should just forget the hopper and get the conversion? I know what ur saying though. my speed chops like every 50th ball.

The eye conversion will stop all of your chopping problems as well as the slow firing when sensi is on.
