Serial Numbers

I recently came across an angel and was looking for the serial number when I found something that was carved in by what looks like a knife? Where are most numbers located. (I think this one was a 98)

in the breech when u open it u should see it

Yeah when you open the breech there will be a number on the breech close to the body of the gun itself. Or if you take off your triggerframe the serial number is also written on the gun.

mine looks lke that and I am pretty sure it was scrached on

If I remember correctly and if not I'm sure to be corrected all the serial #'s were etched by hand at least on the first 4-5 years of Angel production.

3447 stars and stripes. and I think they use a program that etches the numbers to look hand done, IIRC.
