Breach O-Ring?

Hi, today I was playing and after the game, I open up my breach and the little oring is torn apart. It's the O-Ring that goes over the little hole. My field know-it all said that my fps would be affected greatly by this. Is this a huge deal? Do I need one right away?

not greatly..... but slightly... you'll lose some efficiency, i didnt use one for a long time.. no real big deal

you probally have wear on your bolt that did that like he said it should be ok

you shouldnt have out of ordinary wear on the bolt.... the breech rod still locks the breech in the same spot

k, thanks. I guess once I get eyes installed i'll get some type of repair kit with all of the o-rings...it'd be good to have.

A quote from one of the Master Techs (if memory serves, it was Russ).

Its not a seal so much as a bumper.

Its basically so the breech doesnt bang down on the body when you close it.

Yeah you wont have any major problems with that o-ring missing....
