A poem from Iraq

Hey guys, I got this in me email at work today. Sums up the way most of us military guys feel at least. It was wrote by David L. Creighton, a british soldier fighting in Iraq:

You media pansies may squeal and may squirm,
But a fightin' man knows that the way to confirm,
That some jihadist bastard truly is dead,
Is a brain-tappin' round fired into his head.
To hell with some wienie with his journalist degree
Safe away from the combat, tryin' to tell me,
I should check him for breathin,' examine his eyes.
Nope, I'm punchin' his ticket to Muj paradise.

To hell with you wimps from your Ivy League schools,
Sittin' far from the war tellin' me about rules
And preachin' to me your wrong-headed contention
That I should observe the Geneva Convention,
Which doesn't apply to a terrorist scum
So evil and cruel their own people run from,
Cold-blooded killers who love to behead,
Shove that mother' Geneva, I'm leavin' em dead.

You slick talkingheads may preach, preen and prattle,
But you're damn well not here in the thick of the battle.
It's chaotic, confusin' it all comes at you fast,
So it's Muj checkin' out because I'm going to last.
Yeah, I'll last through this fight and send his ass away
To his fat ugly virgins while I'm still in play.
If you journalist wienies think that's cold, cruel and crass,
Then pucker up sweeties, kiss a fightin' man's ass.

Thats a good poem. I have a lot of friends in the military and they all feel about that same way. I know going to school a lot of college students bash the war and the soldiers, and it just sickens me to hear them say §§§§ like that. I have nothing but respect for any man or woman in the military fighting right now over in Iraq.

Good poem. The US soldiers fighting deserve our praise and respect nothing less! We have no right to judge them because we are not the ones fighting and or serving our country in this time of cirsis.

I agree with what is written however no matter how many editorials we will always be called murderers and baby killers. Face it, it's part of the job.

This is the way I see it. You got 15 Jihad love'n extremist bastards lying around you with weapons at arms reach, you could turn your back and hope he's dead and wont put a bullet or something else in your ass OR, you could put that 5.56 NATO round right in his damn head where it belongs, it's either him or me, AND IT SURE AS HELL AIN'T BE ME!!!! :blasting: cap the motherfooker and send his ass to Jihad, or what he thinks is Jihad!!!! Just my 2 cents and now I'll shut up before I get in trouble
