the fugly gun

Im an angel owner, and ive seen alot of angels but this is pushin just a little, this thing is fugly!! ..... i dont know why the hell the back is cut off , and i hear its expensive and the breach is longer for some reason , and that theres buttons on the reg, and the breach nob is gone ( thats classic for angels) . im very confused why they would make a gun like this. yeah its fast but its still fugly id like to know what you people think about this ..... im not dissin wdp, angels are the only gun i shoot , i just dont like this g7

The back is cut down because the solonoid is placed sideways and the disperse plate is removed completely. The reason that the twist knob replaced the pull knob is that people are always complaining about their ram backing out. So what the twist knob does is push the ram up to its optimal position, thus locking the breach with the bolt forward.
Those 'buttons' you see on the reg can actually be seen on the lower part of the trigger guard as well. But they aren't buttons. They are rubber grips that help with gripping the gun better.
The 2nd stage Reg (the foregrip internals) are lighter and smaller that the ones found in the Speed 05.

So with the back piece shaved off, milling shaved from grips to allow rubber grips, and lighter internals, the G7 is lighter than the Speed 05.

i personally dont like the look of it, no matter how many new things are on it....for me it was almost a trademark of the angel to have the gun arch at the breach, not just flow right down. That and the pull pin, i mean i'm a guy that likes to fidget with things and i'd rather mess with that then a lever lol

but regardless, each person has thier own opinion...some will like it, others wont, the important thing is that we respect thier opinion....right?



oh and yes, i embrace innovation...but flipping a solenoid on it's side is not really innovative to me

i completely agree with mamba on this one, i dont like the look of it(which in my option is the thing i want MOST out of a gun), and i never knew that the things on the reg were grips..
ist fast, and light, which is good

I agree with mamba too , yeah it may be lighter and faster but it will always be fugly and i cant shoot a fugly gun even if it is faster than the 05, i mean look at the 05 speed then the g7 that arch just ruins the hole gun.. the 05 is sexy !!!

Their starting to turn away from the classic angel style that i love so much, like the pull knob on the g7 and the slanted solenoid , not to mention the huge chop off the end . This is by far the angel i like the least in mostely looks and a couple smaller things. But im sure its a big improvement compared to other angels, im just looking forward for any g7 up grades to put in my 05 speed :biggthump

I dont love the way the G7 looks, however if it is as light and shoots as well as they say it will...then who cares. I go for performance first in my guns. Cosmetics comes second. I love my led, it shoots as good if not better than most guns on the market...I probably wont be selling my led to get a G7, but as long as WDP is moving forward and staying one step ahead of everyone else they will continue to be the top gun manufacuter. If I did ever buy another angel it would be the G7...for the performance reasons. Like everyone has been saying some people are gonig to like the G7 others will LOVE it and others will hate it...its all opinion...

ok i support angel and all but lets not bash timmy's... they were the guns that broke alot of ground back in 2002-2003 and even now.... bob long set a standard with the intimidator.....

I can't say I like the style, and it doesn't seem to break much new ground. I don't think angel should release a gun like this because its just a fancy 05 Speed. I think the speed has better aesthetics and price. I would only pay $500 more for a force because they are outright awesome and beautiful and well worth it. But for the most part, its not exactly jaw dropping gorgeous like most angels nor inovative like most angels

Yes they did, but all Bob can do now with Intimidators, is make them look prettier.

i agree, I think the grip of the 05 speed, with the minireg/90º frame is insanely comfy. I imagine the rubber grips are justgoing to make it even more awsome.

personally I also dont like the cut off on the end so I still have no regrets in buying my speed 05 even though this is on its way. :)

I love the way it looks, nice and clean. And the new features that come with it are bound to be just amazing. Sucks..I bought a new force fly not too long ago..and I'm already wanting the new G7 or if they ever come out with a Force G7...ahhh

As long as the gun works well and can cycle like a monster I think I can fet over the look. I agree that the new sleek look changes the whole attitude of the gun, but think of it this way...if the guy you are going to bunker has time to look and admire your gun or find it revolting you are already in trouble. I say take the one that will throw paint and help you win games.

Hey, dont get me wrong i love my 2000 Dark Angel but when i saw the new G7 pictures it was like falling in love again. This gun looks awesome and if it shoots as reliable fast and acurate as it says damm, nothing will stand in its way. Anyways is there a specific release date because i want one of this as soon as posible.

WDP wouldn't release anything with problems. If you don't like, don't buy it. Think about all the different types of timmies out there! One style might not match one person, but are others. But for me, G7 all the way baby!!!
