Hey, my cousins been trying to buy this guy at my field's speed.
He's 10 years old and loves getting ripped off. He was paying $1,100 bucks for an Angel Speed with Dual Volumizers...that's it. Anyways, yesterday he traded his fourwheeler for this Angel Speed! A Honda fourtrax NICE fourwheeler which used to be mine which we sold to them for like $2,500.
Anyways, he traded a $2,500 fourwheeler for an Angel Speed.
And to top it off, he paid 200 bux for a 68/3000 Crossfire tank, which needs to be rehydroed next year..

Is he looking for any other gear? I'm sure I could find some stuff lying around that he'd love to have for a mere $200-300. Let me know.

Jupez, why don't you talk with him? Instead of posing about his misfortunes make it your responsibility to help him become a better buyer. He's 10 years old, he doesn't know any better and honestly at his age he shouldn't.
There are all sorts of people on these forums out to rip people off, they target people like your cousin and sell them overpriced equipment or pass off broken equipment as "NIB." It's the unfortunate state of affairs and it's why making a reputation for yourself as an excellent trader is so difficult.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. How could you let your cousing make such a stupid mistake? ANd If I was your cousins rents I'd be getting involved, because that is horse§§§§. Whoever traded him the speed knew they were ripping him off..... :bike: :dunno:

I DID TELL HIM. I invited him over and showed him how much you could get an Angel for brand new with that stuff for way cheaper. That night, he was talking about how he hated Nathan (the guy who sold it to him) and he wasn't going to buy the gun. The next day we go out to the field and he tells Nathan he'll trade his fourwheeler for it?! I asked him later and he said he didn't want to hurt Nathan's "feelings".
The point is, he knew he was getting ripped off. And while he was over here I even posted here and showed him all of the replies saying it was a ripoff.

Must be a retard? He's only 10...
Edit-His mom came by mom's work and was like saying how the gun costed $3000 dollars and I tried to explain to her that there is no gun stock, brand new over 3000...

I don't think it is a problem of being retarded as it is the guy just doesn't yet understand the value of money. He'll find out soon enough.....

is he/his parents rich?

It shouldn't matter if his/her parents are rich or not. IMO money shouldn't be wasted like that no matter how much money you've got. But then again, the kid is 10 years old and most likely doesn't know the value of money, I remember I didn't lol. Oh well, just one of those lessons in life.

Actually, no. They're not rich at all. I won't go into details but i'll say that he hasn't played in almost a year because of money...

I know for sure that at 10 years old I didnt have 1000 sitting for me to to spend on paintball...at 19 i still dont. He made a mistake, he will/already has learned from it and hopefully he won't make a mistake like that in the future. It is a shame how people rip off people, ecspecailly kids that have no idea...I know I have sold some items probably more than I should have...but never more than you could buy the stuff new for and never to someone that had no idea about the value of both the product and money. Like I said hopefully he learns from his mistake and will not make anymore in the future.
