Today at my field we put 140 paintballs in a stock HaloB and 140 in an Egg w. A Z-Board.
The Halo was brand new, brand new batteries.
The Egg was sorta new, brand new batteries.
The Halo emptied out the 140 a good few seconds before the egg. This is really gay :(

That's why I'm switching to the ripped Halo with V-board. EGG'S SUCK!!!! They break down to damn easily especially in a humid places. I went through 3 shells in 6 months during the humid summer months over here on Okinawa Japan and my Z-board would crash on me.

Eggs are slow.....lol everyone knows that. Halo B with Victory Board is the only way to go...lol

Does it matter if it holds 40 more? I put 140 paintballs in both...one pod in each. Also, how fast do you think the Egg REALLY shoots with my Z-Board in it?
Edit-well the egg holds 40+more did u factor that in
Read the whole post before you post. ;)

I would say 17-19 for the egg...Halo b with victory board 35....big difference... The egg holds 180 paintballs right? My halo holds 180 so I dont know what you mean by the egg holding 40 more than the halo...so are you saying the egg holds 220?

There are a lot of things to consider when comparing an Evolution to a Halo. Due to the fact that I've spoken with many people about "which is better... and why" I had compiled a little fact sheet. Keep in mind that my results may differ from your results.
Background:
Two loaders were used in this testing, an Evolution II with Z-Board and two brand new E2 9V batteries. The second loader was a Halo B with z-code software, rip drive and 6 brand new E2 AAs. Both loaders were filled with 150rds of Draxxus Inferno. Both loaders were placed ontop of a WDP Angel Fly with LP 3.5 software and a TR of 3. To factor in 'averages' there were 4 shooters with each loader and all 4 shooters were Angel owners on the same marker.
Evolution = L1
Halo = L2
User 1:
L1 - 9.6 seconds (15.625bps)
L2 - 8.4 seconds (17.857bps)
User 2:
L1 - 8.5 seconds (17.647bps)
L2 - 7.9 seconds (18.987bps)
User 3:
L1 - 9.0 seconds (16.667bps)
L2 - 7.3 seconds (20.547bps)
User 4:
L1 - 8.1 seconds (18.518bps)
L2 - 7.0 seconds (21.428bps)
User 5: me
L1 - 9.6 seconds (15.625bps)
L2 - 7.7 seconds (19.480bps)
L1 avg: 16.81bps
L2 avg: 19.66bps
As you can see by this rather thorough testing, the Halo is approximately 3bps faster than the Evolution and both loaders fell 2-3bps slower than their advertised feed rate. Yes, these loaders can feed faster but this just goes to show you a testing analyzing 5 different shooters on these loaders.
In addition, upon thorough testing with a V.35 board... not a single person in the shop (with any marker) can get the chronograph to read greater than 29bps without either breaking paint or running the bounce illegally. Even then, that reading was a bit questionable on the Angel used.
In regards to capacity, I've crammed 191 balls in my Evolution and I've crammed 186 in my Halo.

Thanks, I try to help. I feel as though that often times the best way to provide a response is not with an opinion but with a fact.
Though, opinions are easier to type and a lot cheaper to support!

Some other hard facts I've come through testing 3 different Halo's and 3 different egg's
Basic Facts:
Egg holds - roughly 200 balls
Halo holds - roughly 150 balls
(I did not absolutely pack them both full of balls... because you can't fill them that full and expect them to work perfectly.)
I tested the average bps the loaders could feed on a drop test, not with the loaders feeding on a gun that's firing.
Egg:
Stock - 13 bps
Z-Board - 16 bps
Halo:
Stock - 20 bps
V35 - 31 bps (highest setting)
The rates which these loaders fed for me were the absolute fastest I managed to see achieved.
