Hey, I'm entering the LED family in a couple days, just wondering about some things.

Is an LED without too many internal ups going to be a high pressure gun, so an LP tank wouldn't work?

Also, is there anything i need to know about it in terms or maintenance, like what parts need to be lubed regularly?

Finally, is there a copy of the original manuals and stuff online some where?

Well let me start by saying welcome to the family. You will be happy that you decided to get an Angel LED.

The LED is going to be a high pressure gun, so a high pressure tank will work best on the gun.

Just make sure to keep your gun clean. Clean all paint, dirt, etc... off the gun after each time you play. Every few months put a few drops of oil in your asa and then shoot some air through your gun. This will shoot the oil through your gun and should keep things lubed nicely. Also every once in awhile put a little lube on your hammar so it keeps moving smoothly. Use Angel Love Juice or Gold Cup Oil for putting in your asa and use Angel Love Grease or Dow 33 or Slick Honey on your Hammar.

I believe there is a copy of the manual here on the site. IF you go up to the tool bar (it says user cp FAQ, member list, etc... go to the "More!" section click on it and then click on manuals. I believe there is a copy of the led manual on there. If not you can probably buy one from any of the site sponsors for like $8...

Hope that helps you out some.

Ugh. I'm now regretting doing this. I got the marker last night, turns out the guy didn't like me very much. Broken wire harness, bent pin in the molex connector soldered to the board, bent breech pin, and no charger. Pfft. Some trade.

Well, now that you're at a crossroads, may I suggest that you think about getting it ACED. There are a number of aftermarket mods... MT's, TAG. I got two basket LED's that I sent to TAG. He took the good parts from both to make one w/PredII w/breakbeam eyes. TAG will do the Pred II mod for around 300.00 -325.00. Nd. to ck price. He gives the marker a complete GOLD service and a 6 month warranty for the ENTIRE marker, not just the mod. I call mine a FRANKENSTINE LED. I love the performance, this marker shoots TITS. All I need to do when I save up some jack is to get it reannoed. I'm thinking Red, Black and Silver splash. Hey I'm a UGA (Georgia ) fan :worthy:

I would just fix it up, although right now, i don't have the cash or time to get a new board, wiring harness and charger. Wish me luck tracking this guy down and getting my cocker back.

Good news. There's hope for me yet. The guy said he'd probably pay for parts, if i pay for installation, to get it fixed. Man, i want to get back to playing

That sounds good. If you buy the stuff new from a MT a board will run you about $60-70 a charger will be $60-70 and the wiring harness will be about $115

Run a search of this forum and you will find a bunch of information. Or make a new thread for youself...its just more courteous to not clutter someone else's thread. But if you have more questions just post a new thread saying what questions you have and what upgrades you already have on your gun etc....
