Getting a.i.r, I have an 2001 dark lcd, what should I set my regs at, have just stock mini reg on it. Want nice lower pressure if possible, pleax help:doh:

if your minireg is intact, use 650 psi output on AIR, and adjust velocity with minireg screw over a chrono.

if you gut your minireg, or use a gas thru, then set output pressure on AIR to 350psi to start with. Then adjust velocity using AIR output screw over a chrono.

I don't know about the LCD manual but I know the iR3 manual also says when gassing it up (assuming you have the mini reg guts in it) to have the screw flush to the body, then adjust the screw in.

What is better? Take mini reg guts out or leave in?

leave them in....no reason to modify your mini-reg....even some of the top techs in the world say that what little efficiancy you gain is not worth destroying the internals of your gun should you tank reg fail

Emmit is right. Safety is paramount! They made the gun with a mini reg for a reason. Use it.
