I've heard both "get hp for the 05 speed" and "get lp for the 05 speed" ... which is it? hp or lp??

If you don't have a tank, get a low pressure for sure. It makes it easier on the reg, lpr, and brings your fps down within limits. It is also easier on the paint because the bolt operates on a lower pressure. Get a crossfire low pressure, best high flow tank available and excellent warranty.

if you plan on useing one tank for a long time perhaps get the MacDev conquest. adjustable so if down the road you get a new gun and need high pressure you are still set.

not to mention, imo, its the best tank system on the market :)

Speed 05 works great out of the box with the LP. Check out the crossfire LPs. Never lets ya down. Check out ebay. You can get brand new for around $190.00. I use a stubby with a uni mount and I can get so small, the other guys are looking for the barrel hole pointing at em, cause thats all there is. Check out ebay item 7120220630 for an example.
