I just purchased an Angel 05 and shot my first hopper through it. The tank had 4500 psi in it when I started after shooting the hopper the tank read 3000 psi. Just wondering if this is normal or what the problem is.

i would assume that it just needs to be broken in, thats all. could be wrong but pretty sure

Mine's getting crappy gas efficiancy too, hoping thatdude is right and it just needs to be broken in more... 2 cases put through it so far plus an entire tank of dry firing... dunno how much more it needs.

lol as ive been told its bout 10k for a break in... so bout 5 cases of paint, and that also includes the jumpiness over chrono, after breaking in the inline reg it will be more consistant. but like ive said, no personal experiance yet, this is all what i have been told from other angel/speed 05 owners.

What I did is just get my tank filled a lot, turned the dwell up to 12, and shot about 2000-3000 shots. Then I turned dwell down to 9, and shot a TON of shots. I just dont know how it will be on paint, but I gonna guess I got about 1200 shots.

When breaking in, does it need to be loaded with paint or you can do dry firing?

i wanna know the answer to steel's question also!

it help break in period with paint adds resistance to the valve
Actually, it doesn't make a difference.
Go ahead and take advantage of all day air, and just dry-fire it for ~15 mins straight. If that doesn't break it in, I dunno what will! lol
