Shots, Yes its been asked

Ok I know this was asked before, but I wanna ask again now that more people own the 05 and more people know it better..

About how many shots do you guys get out of a 68/45 450psi tank? Im using Preset Angel AIR, and it doesnt seem like Im getting more than 700 shots. Dwell is set to 4 LED's (stock settings).

well i only get a hopper and 2 pods outta my 45/45 with no volumizer tho illl see if that changes i just got one

yeah, someone was telling me that they can get a hopper +5 pods to a 45/45 so im thinking/hopeing that its just because it needs to be broken in, i will be shooting mine for the first time this weekend, see how that goes and i can post the results if i remember lol

well i have had my gun for a month and a half and i have it on the first dwell and it shoots a perfect 280 over the chrono every time idk how much more it could get broken in

i dont have any problems wit my gun i dont even need 2 use that many pods since i play front
i am just gonna get either a newton or cobra kit to help my air and i jsut got a volumizer which will help alot 2

Im glad its not a problem for you, I havent Run out of air in a game either. But what bugs me is that Im supposed to be getting good air efficiancy and Im not.... I thought I remembered people saying 900+ shots per 68/45... Im getting -800

the one thing different i have that might increase the air eff is the lucky kit they are designed to be quiet and not waste alot of air soo that might be increasing my shots too

thatdude it was me who said i get a hopper and 5 140 pods with a 45ci/5K not 45K i have a evil scion my team mate gets about a hopper and 4 pods with his 45ci /45K with his 05 speed

yes & no, what I'm trying to say is people complaining how much shoots they get from certain tanks when they don't even know how much air they have in their tank. ie, i'm good to go, my 4.5k is filled to max, knowing the field only do 3k.

yes I can get around 1200-1300 off my 68ci 4500psi Angel Air Preset and I have dwell at 1 light- its the most efficent/quietest setting. :smile:

Most Speed should start at 4 lights for dwell. After 10-12 cases of paint, you should be able to drop it to 1-2 lights for dwell. Your Speed will be a gas hog at 4 lights. Just let it break in. On a 47/4500, usually 4x 140 + hopper. On a 68/4500 9x 140 + hopper. An 88/4500 you get 13x 140 + hopper. This is the case if your dwell is set at 2 lights and tank is maxed out at 4500 psi.

The stock settings seem to be more for paint tolerance than air efficiency. Mine is running at 2 led's on the dwell, middle volumizer, lpr at 60, and main reg accordingly. I get damn near 3 bags out of my 68/45 preset crossfire low pressure. Another good point, when fields fill your tanks in a few seconds, ever feel how warm they feel? Let them cool down and you will only have maybe 3700 left out of a quick filled 45. By the way zoom-zoom, did you run the scion as the main reg?(gut the stock reg)

Right around 1200-1300 from my 70/4500 Crossfire Stubby. I can't wait for the Evolve Kit and Evil Scion to get in to see if I can improve that number any.

Right now I am running the settings completely stock and only have on the Cobra volumizers.

I get about a 4200 out of 4500 fill.

It reallytakes 10-12 cases to braek in???? That's guna be a long ass time (10-12 weeks) for me, I never use mroe than a case (thats my limit due to my small, jobless budget)

Trigga - the problem is that that 70 is more like a 76. The internal volume is a lot higher than advertised. Trust me on that one.

I have a 68/4500 tank, that I only fill to 3200 because we fill off scuba tanks that are only rated to 3000. For paint, I carry a full halo and 4 140 round pods, so about 750 shots. If I go out fully gassed up, I come back at about 1300 psi. The only ups I've done are a cobra valve and v2.0 bolt. I have my dwell set at 9, lpr running at about 65-67 somewhere in there. I don't have any issues with that. I have a teammate shooting a shocker who can carry more paint than air, what's the fun in that?

so i'm guessing the 05 speed isnt a backplayers gun?
how many more shots do u think u would get if i added a volumizer? i'm thinking of getting a 05 speed but i want to know everything about it first.
