Hey guys since im a Christian-Jew i would like to tell all you guys happy Hannuka.

P.S. my group home wont let me celebrate it and i might get out because of that fact on friday. keep your fingers crossed

Im a jewmanidian(jewish german indian) i dont celebrate chanukah cause i dont practice the religion but i believe the story has to do something with this guy and a candle lasting like 13 days or something i dont know i could be wrong but anyways
have a HAPPY CHANUKAH!!

my bad when i posted it was early in the morning. channuka is a celebration or the re dedication of the temple after its defilement by the sireans(bad spelling)

Funny, but a huge misconception.

I like that pun, but if you trace back history to it historical accuracy, Jesus was a Hebrew. Even upon his death, he was still a practicing Hebrew and thought by many practicing Hebrews to be a prophet. Ironically the two religions are very similar. Especially in values and morals. The slight differences in the two basic religions changed drastically after the Jews were being exiled from Rome, also more changes occured after the Jews were exiled from Spain due to their usage by the Catholic Church as accountants. At that point in history in the Catholic religion it was not allowed to loan money to another person and charge interest, so hence they offered these positions to others outside of the Catholic religion that they could trust to financially make these arrangement without offending the church. This is the truth behind some of the stereotyping of the Jewish people.

Sorry about the short history lessons. Just thought I would shed a little insight on this subject.
