Removing macroline fitting

Is there any way of removing the macroline fitting and changing it for a stainless QD so I can run SS Braid?

I think it's either a metric 4 or 3 allen wrench that you insert in the fitting. Though you gotta do something about heating up the fitting because it has locktite on it and if you try forcing it off you might strip it.
