So, anyway.... I have been shootin a tricked out cocker for a while and have decided to go electronic. With that said, might as well go with the best name on the market huh? I chose the Speed 05 mainly becuse of the bang per buck it provides. I have been reading a lot of the tech forums and have downloaded the owners manual. I have read it a couple of times and am trying to figure out what settings Ima use.

Have a couple of questions though. How many people use eggs with their angels? I have decided to go with a stifi barrel or switch kit. Now, I am curious what other people out there think about barrel length? Pros and Cons of the longer vs. shorter!

the 05 speed is nice. i would say get the 14 inch barrel cause it is a great in the middle lengh. If you play back i would say get 16, and i have an eggy2 z boarded and i t works fine.

The Egg works fine with the Speed. See if you can get it with the Z board.
The Stiffi switch kit works wonders. Don't get a 16". 14" works perfect especially in tourneys. Going bigger you start to lost gas efficency, and it really won't improve your accuracy.

I like 12 inches, although I have never played with a 14. Of course, I usually play mid/front. Man, I see so many peeps with the stiffi or the switch. Honestly I can't figure if I am gonna upgrade the stoch barrel yet. If I do, I don't know whether to get a kit. It seems about 50 50. I wish I could find a barrel that would match the curves of my angel.

I would like a more cosmetic looking barrel too! I like the Freak in that aspect, but the raves about the stifi make me one to try one, so ima give it a shot.

Sounds like ima get 14 inch barrel. I play mostly back, mid occasionally. I have used 14 inch barrel for about 2 years. I was just wandering what other people, thought.

14 inch and 16 inch is best for barrel length...its a proven fact that the barrel of a gun does not effect its acuracy or distance..the main thing i see with barrel length is the sound...long barrel=quite sound..shorter barrel=BANG

use a halo to get the most fire power out of your gun......i hear nothing but great things about stiffis.............14" is what i use and if your playing things like air ball thats what i would get(to manipulate the bunkers.....)

Here's hwo I see it.

12" for back players, its the most efficiant and they are all as accurate (12, 14, 16).
14" for front, its compact, but long enough that you can push in most bunkers.
16" for mid, its long enough to easily push in supair bunkers to give you the tightest smallest profile possible, but its a little long for a front player whos up and running all over the place.
