You can purchase a gauge that inserts in one of valve areas, typically the right side, volumizer goes on the left side if you have barrel pointing at you.

Slasher:

Where? Can a guage tool be purchased similar to the LPR adj. guage in the toolkit but capable to read higher psi readings to find out the inline reg pressure?

I have seen the small guage that replaces the LPR cap and it seems very very small and general. It does not appear to be used for precision measurements.

The lpr Gauge is used to measure actual psi going through valve. The small gauge you are talking about is for the higher psi read-out for the mini reg and yes they go in the same slot.

hey man thanks for the input, but what i meant was like a gauge that tells you what your psi is when u shoot, like the ones on other guns. like the cockers have on there regs, and if u can how would u do it

Why would you want that? If you setup your gun and use the LPR gauge for tuning, you don't need to think about what psi the gun is running at anymore. You're going to be adjust the 2nd stage regulator anyway for fps.

i think he wants to put a gage on the 2nd stage reg like the 04 flys have on thers

If you want something like the gauge on the A4 youd have to buy the boot and gauge together. I think those gauges on any gun are cumbersome and just get in the way.

so how much would a boot thingy cost me and where to get it

is there a volumizer with a slot for a gauge?

Call me crazy, because I really am, buy if you really wanted a gauge on your 05, couldn't you just tap a 1/8 NPT hold in the minireg (near the very top) and put a 0-300psi gauge on there? Providing there is room for one. By looking at the manual, it looks like there is but I could be wrong.

Sure, it would VOID the WDP warranty, and if you are not a machinst, it could really screw up your minireg. Consider that before even trying.

Besides, I think it might just get in the way.

all good points trigga but it would be nice to know what kind of pressures the reg is putin out just for the sake of tweaking/tuning

i don't know if you can use the flash tank boot with the gauge. i check it on www.wdp.tv and it seems it won't fit.

trigga, if tapping the minireg will void the warranty then why not tap the volumizer and not void the warranty? will it not give you the same reading? if it will be used for tuning then i prefer this. i've seen pics of the evolve kit and the thing that goes to the lpr side has a tap for a gauge. maybe this can be done also on the volumizer on the exhaust valve side to check your operating pressure.

Nice idea.

Maybe when I get my Evolve kit in, I'll tape a hole in my Cobra volumizers that I will not be using anymore. Hmmmmmm.....

I think the gauge that is on the evolve is for the lpr read out.
You will not be able to buy the flash tank boot + gauge for the Speed 05 because the fact that the minireg housing is a one piece and not a two piece as the Fly and previous models even before that.
