new to angels got some ?'s

im new to angels and i just have a few questions. do i really need volumizers? will a hp tanks work with the 05 speeds? also is a evo with z board good enough or do i need a halo or reloader b? if theres any other important stuff i need to know thatd be great. thanks a ton for everyone that helps me out.

you dont NEED a volumizer, but they help. A HP tank will work, but 05 Speeds are not intented to work on HP, and therefor you should use a LP tank. A Egg with a Z might be about to work with you, but i wouldnt be suprized if you start outshooting it, id recommand a halo B or Reloader B

no, you don't NEED volumizers, but it will make your angel a little easier on paint, as you'll be able to lower your minireg output.

As far as HP tanks go, I've heard both ways, some people can't get their marker under 300 fps on an HP tank.

Evo's work with the angel just fine. I used one the day my reloader b died. The software supposedly adjusts to your feed rate, so as long as you're on the right hopper setting(on the marker) you shouldn't have any issues. One other thing about eggs, you can't open the breach with the hopper attached because the hopper gets in the way.

Other than that, don't adjust your trigger too tight, it will cause some problems. Enjoy your angel.

I have an Egg with Z board and I have no problems opening the the breach with the egg attached. Don't know why anyone would have any problems with any hopper since the breach opens up only as tall as the feedneck is high. I use both a reloader B and the Egg with Z board. I can say I have out shot the Z board a few times, although I have the eyes worked flawlessly to correct and slow down the shots and no chops. The reloader B is nice but battery life is pitiful in comparison to the Egg.

You might be able to reverse the springs in the mini reg to use the 05 with a HP tank, but don't rely on it. The FPS may not get low enough to play. And there is always the chance of spiking, you don't want to be banned from a field because of this. Not to mention your lpr may be a bit higher with the HP tank. If you need to use both high and low pressure in case you have another gun, see if you can't send your tank in to be retrofitted with an adjustable reg such as a conquest, Max Flo, or even the nitro duck X-Stream are nice. If you only run LP, then contact crossfire, they can do a reg swap for under a 100 bucks and they have one of the best flow rates for a preset reg.

The reg spring mod can NOT be done to the '05 Speed. If you can't get below 300 fps... I suppose you could reduce your dwell.

the Z board egg will work just fine sont thing your going to over shoot it no you dont neeed the vol. but they help if i were you i would get a lp tank better for your mini reg
