Dezign bolt problem.

The lug on my dezign bolt snapped off in the middle of a woods ball game...

the breech was stuck shut so I had to get a screw driver put it in the front of the gun and beat the bolt back far enough to open the breech.

the inside of the breech was really messy with scratches and peices of metal hanging in places where it shouldnt be....had to smooth it out with a file..


SHHHH dont tell anybody but i dont think dezign has a good and safe product.... :sshh:


Oh when i shoot i feel air come out of the space in the breech..is this preformance hindering and a waste of air or does it not matter enough for me to replace the oring.

There was a production problem with the Dezign bolts. I do not have the specifics, but if I remember correctly, those made sometime in the mid to late summer were defective.

I have a teammate that suffered from the same problem, but I have had the Dezign bolt for around 20,000 shots and have not had any problems.

I would think you may be able to get your bolt replaced if you would consider giving them a second shot (no pun intended).

Otherwise I would recommend the R-11, Bonebrake, or the Cobra bolt.

and im going to buy an r11 bolt sometime in the future.

Not a bad idea, but I wouldve at least held on to the old bolt and asked for some comp, if not a new bolt to hold onto for an extra.

I am just a cheap bastard though.

Was to pissed off for reasoning but owell....*sniff* I miss my bolt because the stock bolt is choppin 1 time every few games..

I want my r11 bolt.

We have 3 angels on our team a mag and a cocker.....i know guns dont matter but we r going to try and intimidate em with a massive volume of paint

1 angel front (me)
1 angel mid
1 angel back (maybe 2 because my freind may let the back man with a cocker use his dark)
