1) No. Not to my knowledge. They all shoot lazers out of mine.
2) No. It needs to have a few drops of love juice droped in but I have found my Angel to be FAR less needy in the maintenence dept. Especially compared to a Shocker.
3) I have seen the chop posts and I think that is 100% misalignment of the ram. I have YET to chop a ball - 10+ cases through my gun and counting.
4) The system is the same. The set the frequency in the visible spectrum. It is a gimmick that is neato and all but works EXACTLY the same.
5) It does have a little kick out of the box - but a volumizer (MED 3 sum) dropped mine down into the range of no kick and flat assed ropes. I know the fly Vol works as well.
6) The stock barrel is great. Jacko's always have been - but you are going to need an upgrade if you are serious. I would recommend a kit. I run a Freak and love it.
7) Nope. Ken debunked that myth a while back. Again - I have yet to run my marker without a Halo (I have a reloader) and have yet to have a problem.
8) AWESOME out of the box. A good friend just got his - put gas to it - put a halo on it - and it was flat illegal fast.
9) Leave all the setting stock. Put the medium vol on - chrono in and you are set.
10) There are four hopper modes. Set them according to the manual. Set your trigger and then set the snubbing to eliminate the bounce (or set it to 6 led lights to see the thing shoot on its own ;) )

I think you should get one - get a reloader B, a LP crossfire tank and a barrel kit and you will be PMing me thanking me for telling you to do so. This is my 16th year playing paintball and this is by far the most fun I have had shooting a paintball marker.

I agree with TF on most of his reply.

My chops were (I'm pretty sure) coming from my reloader B not stopping fast enough. Some say that isn't the case, but I've shot 2 cases with a v35 Halo B on 5 and went from 1 break per hopper to no breaks in 2 cases.

I'm using the large volumizer and am getting very little kick. Less than my friend's shocker, and I was impressed as hell with the shocker.

As far as barrels, get a stiffi or freak system if you use a lot of different paint or play in different temperatures.

I'm getting the "laser" eyes. Gimmick or not, it kicks ass.

I did adjust the ram forward slightly on mine and also removed 1 shim from the LPR to get me at 65 PSI. I can't say that the marker really needs any other upgrades although I did spring for a cobra bolt and valve that are working out great. Seeing about a 10 percent increase in efficiency using both the bolt and valve.

TF, I never got mine to shoot on it's own, I set it at a really short pull with the activation about dead center. I've had the snubbing at 6 a few times and get maybe 3 or 4 shots on the end of a rope, but that's about it. To the untrained eye it looks legal

And TF is right. I've pissed off a few of my friends for lighting them up in games. My pants get really tight when my baby starts spewing carnage like it does. I have a hard time stopping.

Mine is on one led light and it takes the hell off whenI get on it but stops right at the end of the rope. Looks legal ut fast. I think the robot would say that it was adding shots here and there.

if u go to wdp.tv and then click tech and go to manuals then speed 05, the manual says that it comes stock with ONE volumizer which isa medium. is this true or not?

here is the actual link. go to page 6 and it says it on the right

http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/speed05manual-1-12-04.pdf

wdp copied and pasted most of the manual from the fly and didnt get everything edited right in some parts someone got a hold of them a while back and they said it doesnt come with a volumizer it was just a typo

that sucks, they should at least give u ONE volumizer, its just not fair.

how is it without a volumizer efficientcy wise?

First, my WG is adjustable, and I've had no problems keeping up with the speed. I don't know anything about the presets, never had one.
Second, the volumizer doesn't affect effiency. You can decrease your operating pressure, but you use more volume of low pressure air, thus the word volumizer. I'd get it, just cause it looks cool, but it also makes your marker a lot easier on paint, quieter, and the 3 sum kit gives you flexibility so you can get better results if you try to mess with your dwell.
Don't worry about the breach clicking if you don't have any problems.
