ok. how the hell do i get the ramp out of my gun (05 speed)...i'm going to be playing a tournament tommorow and the field owner i guess got mowed down by an angel fly/speed once to many times and he hates them..the man told me he was going to personaly test all the angels on our team for ramping...all the other guys have master tecs or flys or joys...i'm the only one with an 05 speed and there is no menu to acces to make the ramping stop ...

i dont want to have to put an egg on it to make it shoot less i want to play to the guns full potential not slow it down to make it legal....also those extra 4 or 5 balls that come out when i stop pulling the trigger after about a five second ripping session are things he will olso be looking for....

what to do???? what to do????? TIA...

whats your TR set at put it on the lowest and you'll be fine? Also havent heard of any "Ramping" yet probley just bounce but good luck

i read the manual even though i dont have one and its something that has to do with bounce but isnt called "bounce". just turn that all the way up and i think u would be fine. its probably just a delay...

i have tr set at one light wich is the max trigger debounce setting... still i get 3 to 5 balls comming out my weopon of mass destruction once i stop shooting :notsure:

hmm, maybe try turning it all the way up and see what happens. sometimes people get flukes and they work opposite. (im not talking about angels, im just talking about things in genaerl)

lengthen your trigger pull. Your trigger is way to close to the activation point. You did not take out of of the magnets did you?

no magnets taken out and trigger pull is long and activates just in the middle of the pull so it has equal travel forward and back....oh well we can only play 5 guys at a time so if i cant get mine in i get to use the joy division......oh joy oh joy :elephant:

are u POSITIVE that it is ramp? it could be something else easily and it sounds like noone is having ramp. is ur trigger extremly light or anything like that? and what do u call long? like 4 or 5mm?

It is called 'trigger snubbing' in the manual.

So what you are are saying is that your debounce setting is maxed out, large amounts of trigger travel, that after you are done shooting the gun is still firing almost 5 additional balls.

This is a very very odd problem. Sorry but I just don't know what to tell ya. Bummer

1 is the lowest setting
6 is the highest

atleast on my 05. wdp made them normal this time(1 being the lowest and 6 being the most).

on 6 mine was rampin like a beast, so i set it to 1 just to be safe.

you gotta change your activation point and trigger settings, that should cure the bounce.

i agree withshaq787. but no 05 speed with stock board ramps...

for trigger snubbing(bounce) the more leds lite up the more bounce you get
verry bottom(1 led) =no bounce
then so on and so on
verry top(6 led)=megga bounce

if you have your tr or trigger snubing set at the lowest setting and still having bouncing issues i have some magic pads.on max snub it should be total filter so no shots are added this would be bounce.

the magic pads (lol my words) are pads that go between the trigger and the frame. all new guns come with them so only early versions should need them.look between your trigger pin and the frame to see if you have them.if not email me at ken@performanceangel with your breach serial number and your info and i will mail you a set with instructions. please we can tell if you need them by serial number so please dont ask for them before you look to see if there installed your gun.

You know what is weird? I have my snubbing on 6 lights, and it stops shooting right when I stop.

Must have a pretty good trigger setup. But still, might want to turn it down a little, just because it's not "bouncing" per se, doesn't mean that it can't. I had a gun at DB3, and I couldn't get it to bounce, then a ref came over and make it bounce all the way home. Lesson learned? Always turn your trigger filtering up for good luck and happy teammates. Otherwise they'll kill you.

as for this weekend things went fine with my little baby..one pull one shot,looked for bounce=none found, rapid fired the gun only got one extra ball out after pull was terminated so they didnt give me any grief over it..

I have mine on one light as well and it flys. I don't want it put on a robot but for now I am happy how fast it shoots.

I also have my on level 5 and I just can't get it to bounce. I happy about this but I also think that its weird. GO SPEED!

I have it set on 2 and it does that 4-5 shots at the end thing. BUt I also have the triggerpull setup so its long, but the gun fires right when u tap it... Owell no refs cared so far :)

I put mine on 6 lights to see what it would do and it ripped , but once I went to a tourney I put it down to 4 lights and it still had a little bounce but not enough to be noticed .... which is good guess it all depends on how your trigger is
