Today about 850 marketing students from diffent schools in Colorado Springs gathered in to the Double Tree Hotel for a marketing competetion. In a marketing competition people do "role-plays" and try to sell something, or solve a publicity problem for thier business, that kind of thing. At the end of the day all 850 kids gathered into a big room so they could announce the winner. For the first 10 minutes while the teachers prepped. ALot of the kids from schools were cheering and even dancing for school spirit. One of the kids from our school got up and started break dancing. But shortly after that he sat down. The teaches quieted us. And just before they started the ceremony, the kid (his name is Houston) started having a seizure right in front of me any my freinds. A doctor who was there started to cpr while the EMTs rushed over. They tried cpr, his pulse kept going back and forth. They shocked him, and he had a pulse but weak. They rushed him to the hospital. And about an hour later after some kids praying, a talk from our principal, and a moment of silence the ceremony went on with word that Houston was ok. Me and a buddy qualified for the state competition and were having a great time on the bus ride back. When we got to the school we were sent to the auditorium..to be informed that Houston, didn't make it(this was just a few hours ago). I knew him, but he wasn't a freind. I'll keep you guys posted, and give you the link to the news article when it comes up.

That sucks man, I lost a really close friend and it's hard stuff. Just keep your spirits high, I'm sure that's what any break dancer would want.

Good luck with your competitions also.
