You will have to change your minireg very soon and there is not enough flow through mini. Full open minireg with tank preset at 200psi shot 280 fps.
You need 400-450psi tank .

i believe the new style mini-regs can handle the hp inputs with no problem. i don't have a new speed, but i've heard that it says so in the manual... someone should have a look...

So is there any advantage with the new mini-regs of running a lower input pressure of 450ish psi?

The high pressure output tank should work fine. If you can, find out the pressure output of your tank. If it's around 7 or 800, then you should be in good shape. I've seen one preset tank, Java I think, that put out 1050 no joke. That pressure can't be good for any gun.

it says so in the manual to not exceed 850 psi input. that means that most hp tanks will work. i have a nitroduck and if it doesnt work, just call up wdp and tell them ur hp tank with w/e output doesnt work and they should hook u up with something i believe. im gonna buy a speed hopefully and according to their manual, my tank will work so im not gonna worry about it.
