Hey guys i own an angel LED. I bought it used and it works pretty well but could use some upgrades. It has a dye double trigger and a upgraded board but thats about it most of the other stuff is stock. It chops and is pretty annoying when it does cause it causes me too sit out a game or two and even then sometimes it just chops again.I couldnt be out shooting the hopper i have an egg and it was turned up all the way. Ill prolly buy a new bolt but I could use some suggestions. I could also use a new barrel any suggestions for what i should get maybe a freak kit? Back to the chopping situation should i buy eyes for it or is that too expensive? Also my egg doesn't fit the gun. Most people tell me too just wrap electrical tap around it and even then its really annoying. It still moves around a lot and if i wrap more around it it wont fit. Should i try to buy a new rise? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

i highly doubt your outshooting the egg, maybe its the quality of the paint, i was choppin a few weeks ago, switched paint and didnt chop again, it could also be your bolt, did you check you detents?

u might be outshooting the egg(dont listen to nick), i would check ur rof and ur dwell under the grip and see...as for the upgrades..
barrel-i prefer the empire kit, but if u want a basic barrel, get a ultri-light
feedneck-i love the ccm no rise
bolt-dont know, but u should probly look into the soft face, and i dont think u can get it for a led tho..might want to check on that
board- i would get a morlock

Ok...where to start...lol
First of all. Eggs are slow pieces of crap. You are probably outshooting it. I use a halo b and that sometimes doesnt keep up. As for upgrades for the led, since the led hasn't been made for awhile there arent many upgrades.
Problems with Chopping:
1. You can turn your ROF down on your gun by turning the little knob on the board under the grips.
2. Get a faster hopper such as a Halo B
3. If you get a halo you will need to check your detents to make sure they are stiff enough...so you dont double feed.
4. Your detents should not be a problem now unless you are doublefeeding (Shooting two balls at once basicly)

Upgrades:
1. For a bolt spend a little money and invest in a New Designz bolt. If not then stick with your stock bolt. www.newdesignz.com is the website I think. It is like 40-50 bucks but they are custom made.
2. Feedneck. I am assuming you have the stock feedneck that is a lil piece of metal sticking up and then a plastic elbow. It so just pull the elbow off and throw it away...then try and unscrew the metal piece, it is probably loc tited in really well. I had to drill a hole through that metal piece and put a screw driver through the hole to get some leverage to unscrew it (I did this after i broke 2 strap wrenches)
3. I recommend using a high rise, for the extra stack of balls, unless you are going to get eyes. Either the morlock board and eyes (Rumor has it they arent selling it anymore) or the Predator Mod. Morlock is like $125-$150 the predator is $350

Barrel:
Spend some money and get a nice kit. You can find used barrel kits for pretty cheap. A Freak, Empire, J&J edge kit, Pipe, any kit will work basicly....as you get the wide range of bore sizes.

Gauge and Reg.
1. Unless your regulater is acting up and not being consistent I wouldn't change it (if you have the wdp mini reg and it is acting up, all you would need is to have it rebuilt...bascily o-rings and lube...pretty simple and cheap. You dont need a gauge unless you want one. I have one on mine and like it, just so I can check pressure as I use an adjustable tank.

Tanks
A crossfire would be a perfect tank to use, and it wont cost you too much. If you wanted to spend more you could look into an adjustable tank of some sort, Conquest, AIR, Hyperflow, etc... The screw in crossfire should be fine though. Make sure you get a HP tank though not a LP tank.

I think that is everything you asked....contact info is in my sig if you need more help, or just post here...

Hope that stuff helps.

If you want your reg to be set like that you need to find a 15 Degree ASA. That will push the reg at an angle like that. Not sure if anyone makes them for the led anymore. You will probably have to search around and check ebay and what not.
