I'm having a problem with the velocity on my Angel jumping by +/- 20 fps! Its a used gun but I never had this problem before, only after about 3 times of playing with it. I've not opened the gun or screwed around with it. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be? Thanks.

Do you have the Angel Toolkit? If you do, check your LPR Pressure, and also see if it recharging fast enough. What kind of bolt do you have in the gun now?

I don't have the toolkit but I believe the pressure has been correctly set. It was looked at by an Angel tech a few days ago. As for the recharging, how can I tell if its doing it fast enough? I'm using the stock bolt, btw.

You'd have to use the Gauge in the toolkit. It should have a nice snappy return when you fire. If its creeping, try cleaning the piston. If that doesn't fix it, your lpr might be bad.

I had this problem and all I did was adjust the snap ring and hammer position correctly and now my gun is consistent as hell

I would give this a shot because you don't need a toolkit - just Circlip pliers. But I highly suggest getting a toolkit anyway.

Ok, I'm new with Angels. I don't have the manual either so I don't know where the 'snap ring' is located. Do I have to open up the back plate to get to this? And if I don't have circlip pliers can I still take off the snap ring?

Click Here for an LCD Manual:

You will need the toolkit for the Snap Ring and adjustment of the Hammer.

or a pair of c - pliers (the ones for the mini-reg) and the right allen key.

And all of the info is in the manual :)
