I'm just wondering if it is worht the 500? What advantages does it have over any other tanks?
Chris at Cobra has his marker set up single reg with the geddon,...getting mine set the same way.

It's a fair question. The A.I.R. does cost more that most, it weighs a bit more that other tanks and doesn't even come with an on/off. If we can believe in the advertising hype, though, it's supposed to prevent (or at least minimize the risk of) chonoing hot. I personally think there are a number of other tanks that do a pretty decent job of regulating, to include MaxFlos, Armageddons and Conquests. If you have a decent in-line reg, even a good screw-in tank will probably work. I'm getting a used '02 A.I.R. (for $325), not because I necessarily believe it's the best HPA system out there, but because I think it just looks better with my LCD.

Well my main reason for the A.I.R. was service. While I know that many A.I.R. systems have been plagued by the dreaded "flash fill" I've never had a problem. The key to owning an A.I.R. is treating it right.
It's an excellent system, quite frankly I don't think it's heavy at all. On an AIR mini-drop, with an IR3 it's perfectly balanced and super light.
A worthy investment. Plus you can always get it looked at/serviced with your marker.
I got an IR3 plus compact drop plus AIR for those same reasons.
While its not SUPER HEAVY, it could be lighter.
And I recently had the flash fill problem despite "treating it right". Just one moment's inattention and a hamhanded fill operator and KABLAMM.
I think WDP should just retrofit a built in air restrictor.
Otherwise its a serious reliability issue -- one of the main reasons I went WDP in the first place was the excellent reliability of an Angel/AIR combo.

It was almost a little frightening to watch how fast and hard the NPPL bauer system filled my tanks (max flows) at Atlantic City. I thought our Nitro Duck booster was hard on tanks. Yow, the bauer system seems to slam the air in like a freight train.
