opto trigger pull !!!

the micro switch trigger pull was really better , is it a tuning problem?

you know i thought the same thing when i shot the opto trigger i didnt like it but the more i think about it, the more i think once your used to it you can really rip w/ it .. its jjust like all new things it takes some getting used to.

I also really like my opto-trigger pull. I have personally found that the key to super-short triggers is a stiff trigger spring. It returns the trigger faster and makes it easier to get in a rhythm. While I was able to adjust mine and rip on it immediately, it DID take me a couple weeks to learn how to walk such a short trigger. Its love now though!

I love my opto trigger. It is definately a step up from a 50 cent microswitch. A lot of people complain about not being able to fire as fast and having to change their shooting style. This was not the case for me. I was able to achieve 2 more bps with the same shooting style. I've since learned to milk it for more. The opto trigger is definately not as adjustable as the micro switch was though. I have not been able to get it to perform well at any pivot point other than the middle. I was rather fond of the rocking action of the back pivot point.

Like everyone else said, It'll take some time to get used to. I'm new to angel's...but when I got my Impact IR3, opto-board or not possibly ALL Angel triggers will rip. Thats just my theory...I've shot a friends LCD, I still like my opto-board..no doubt.
