How many of you are using Halo B's and are chopping on your 05 Speeds? Also, are you using HP or LP tanks?

im using an angel air tank non adjustable (lp) and it is workin great and i have a halo stock board (z code) and i have chopped in the barrel, so it probably isnt the gun i think it was the paint.

i started with a empire reloader b and was chopping then went to and egg and stopped chopping fixed the problem and now im back to the empire

tank i use a 45ci/5k evil scion the best part that evil makes

05 speed, evil scion adj.set at 300 input 68/5k halo b/rip drive z board and a few barel breaks( like 3) with 7 mo old ultra chronic on a cold day but thats about it...prolly just need to check ram stroke/alignment and dwell..

empire loader hp tank just got it dropped down to 400 though and it never has chopped in 3 cases

We have 3 05 speeds. Using both empire and reloader, no problems on the 05. Low pressure tank (450). Problems we had was on the 04 speed with the sensi. We had to use the egg.

Dont know your setup, but if you have not already.. We had one chopping with any hopper, and we put a large volumizer and then lowered the LPR to about 65. It dont chop no more.

One other thing; Check out the thread http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=14849 and also there is a whole thread in here on chopping under the 05 thread. Amazing all the ideas, I will only pass on what has worked for us and the above thread addresses the dwell, which is important when lowering the pressures. I am using the Halo B with a LP 70/4500 Crossfire. No chopping problems over here after I correctly adjusted the ram.

I am running the Cobra volumizer and everything else is stock settings (65psi on the LPR).

Just waiting for my Newton Evolve Kit to ship and get here.

allkillernofiller had thhe same problem adjust your ram a lil bit forward so that its hard to open the breach ull hear it click when u open it and when i did that i didnt chop ever again

Thanks for your replies. I am thinking of getting a Halo B, but since people have been chopping like crazy, I was going to just get the upgraded egg... but I think I can just get my RAM adjusted and stick with the halo. Thanks for the input guys.
