I am busy with Community College, I am in a Heavy Equipment Operators course, and its like 10 hours a day. Add in time with the girl and there is almost not enough time for sleep.

What the hell kind of machine is that in the first pic. Looks like a Dune buggy converted into an excavator. Have never seen anything like it. I worked for an excavating company for a while, I loved the job. Running machines is great. I hated laboring in the rain though.

Haha Hi Brian!

They have a couple different brands, kinda trying to show the differences in the machines. We all know Cats are the best anyways. The bulldozer, payloader and one of the exca..two of the excavators are Cat.

I know all about the busting your ass off in the rain, so now I am the one in the big comfy seat behind glass with A/C and a heater =)

Oh yeah that thing is a Harvester. Trees. Grabs, has a hydraulic chainsaw which cuts at ground level, then it rolls the tree through two rollers delimbing it and cutting it every 8 feet.

Hmm more random stuff

-The start of a mining project (I will try to remember to follow up on this)
-My other project, remodelling the bathroom downstairs. The house is (just over) 140 years old.
-Sunrise on morning shift. We have about an hour of darkness before hand
-This is what its like on nighshift.
-Cleaning out the tracks on nighshift so they dont freeze (its now -6*C or around 20*F)

This one was cause it was snowing, and we have a bunch of WILD woods (dirt) roads that had a light dusting of snow. RALLY!

I have my evaluation tomorrow, but I overheard my instructor talking and from what I heard I am not worried.

After tomorrow I have Xmas break and then back in the classroom for 3 weeks (finish up safety and theory) and a final exam (ugh not looking forward to THAT) which is about 5 hours.

Then graduation.
