strange eye problem

I wasnt sure where to post this but i think in here will do...

I have a flied angel speed... after a day of playing i took the eyes out to clean them, once i put them back in I did an eye test and it kept failing, so i was screwing around with it and took the ball detent out, but left the eye in and it passed, ok i figure its ok, so i screw the detent back in and then the eye test fails, well i figured out that i can only have my ball detent finger tight for my eyes to work... why is this has neone else had this problem

Your ball detents should be finger tightened anyway. Perhaps you bent or broke part of the eye ribbon when you cleaned them or you didn't fit the ribbon into the board socket properly.

i have a thread about it, which i personally think should be stickied because of this.

anyways, it happens to me, and understandibly, everyone. i just make it so that it is tight enough not to feel the spring in the detent, and loose enough to not put pressure on the eye ribbon.
