Wft??? Volumizer Explodes???

I was using a maxflo LP tank set around 350 PSI and I was messing with the velocity through the mini reg. When I aired up the gun the Volumizer goes poink and comes out a little. Quick as i can I turn off the air and dump what's going into the reg and trying my best to think of a way to empty the air in the gun and then all of a sudden POW the thing blows off. The threading is stripped on the volumizer but that seems to be the only problem so far. 1)Can someone explain this to me and 2) is the warranty going to cover this or am I screwed?

I was afraid you would say that. While I think of it, the gun was set up by a certified angel tech and worked perfectly last weekend and practice.

I've never heard of this ever happening, I'd give WDP a call. You never know if they'll support it unless you call...

what kind of volumiser was this? the mt or wdp volumiser has 6 threads and cannot come out unless it wasnt in all the way.please elaborate.

it was the stock volumizer. I haven't touched any of it since it was set up on 11/13/04. That's when I bought the gun. If it helps you any, I took pictures of everything right after it happened and I can send them to you.
