Don't Use Fear Factory Paintball

Hey everyone-
I wasnt sure where to post this at, but I am in the process of posting this on all forums possible. Anyway I sent my gun into Fear Factory Paintball www.fearfactorypb.com at the end of May/Beginning of June. I was going to get it anodized and it was supposed to take 3 weeks. Well it is November 18th, and I still dont have my gun back....

Each time I called Richard who is the owner, he would give me an excuse on why he couldnt anno my gun, this went on for weeks. Finally he said he couldnt get the rods out of my led so he wasnt going to be able to anno it. This was in August that he told me this... So I told him to just send back my gun and all the parts I sent with it and the money order I had sent him to pay for it. Well he said he would get it in the mail and he would possibly overnight it depending on how much it would cost...so I waited a week and then another...still no gun so I called him up and he said he would have it in the mail the next day and I should have it the following week...well obviously I didnt get it and I still havent gotten it.

I have compiled reciepts, copies of e-mails, phone records, recordings, etc... I have a meeting with my local police department on Friday and a complaint form that is going to the Internet Fraud division of the FBI. I am also going to be dealing with his local police department me to get my stuff back. I keep calling him and leaving messages telling him I am doing this and hopefully we can solve this without that happening, but it has been over 6 months and I am no longer being patient. He never responds to e-mails and he never calls me back. So I am planning on pressing charges on him for theft, internet fraud, mail fraud and anything else I am able to do. Most of which are felony offenses. My aunt is an attorney so she is writing stuff up for me.

Anyway I just wanted to let people know not to use him, and to also be careful when dealing with anyone over your gun, and make sure you get feedback from other customers and stuff so you dont get stuck in my position.

Yeah its pretty §§§§ty...hopefully everything will get worked out...all I want is my gun and money back...not for anyone to get into trouble...but the way things are going I dont have any other choice.

thank you Ken for bringing this to my attention. Rather than explaining it here i'll be PMing him and this issue will be resolved within a few days and you will have your marker by the end of next week. I tried to for the most part stay out of business taken during my absence in the summer, and this is what happens...and really i dont blame you for being ticked...so please check your private messeges in approximately 15 minutes and hopefully we'll have this resolved within 24 hours.

i do what i can...i really could care less about the money as long as people are happy, and most people agree that in itself is the hardest part.

really it is a shame to see something like this happen, and i'm no more to blame then richard is...the breach rod was the only reason it couldnt be annodized, and between the two of us we wasted a number of tools trying to get them out...all i knew was that the marker needed to be annodized, if i knew it had been there since just after i left then the story would have been different...hopefully there wont be any hard feelings left after this is all said and done, but if there is then i cant say i dont blame him with all that has happened.

As of right now the money might have already been spent, and according to people on pbnation....Richard isn't the most economicly sound person. So I am hoping I get my money back...At this point in time I want it all back just for having to wait so long and listen to all the lies....I told them they could keep 25 of it for shipping...and just send me 100 back...who knows though...I am more worried about getting my gun back than the money....not to say I dont want that back too.

I am glad you guys have relevant stuff to post on my thread....

Anyway I got my gun back today...however:
I didnt get back one of my frames and some of the smaller parts, or my money. And there was a lot of dirt/dust on my gun, which makes me think it was used or something...but everything works....

So I should be finding out where the rest of my stuff is and my money very soon...

if it helps to know i've done nearly everything i can...the gun was shipped before i could even tell richard of this, and now i come to find out it was covered in dirt when it was (way beyond me)...with my split from the business, i cant guarantee that he will see his parts, mainly because things between me and richard arent looking too well, but if that is the case i fear legal action will be taken...hopefully it wont come to that and the rest will go smoothly, but chances of that arent very high...so richard may have very well ended up screwing himself over for quite some time :( .

:( man that sucks sorry to hear of all your troubles. The dirt/dust was prolly just from the gun sitting in a dirty shop for a long period of time. I can't imagine he would use your gun (although stranger things happen) I Just like to give people the benifit of doubt. Good to you, and if he doesn't make right of this, you should get a lawyer. That is BS. He can't, and wont get away with it if you take legal action.

it probly wasnt dust, more likely overspray as i found it in my painting room for auto/motorcycle stuff. where nate had put it when i thought he took it to ship long before this happened.
nate is no longer here becasue he is a compulsive lier, and broke many things here i had to replace, with money out of my own pocket, that is why i dont have the $ right now. he told people he owned the bussiness. broke peoples stuff and didnt tell me when he shipped it.
and i took all the blame because his parents decided hes only 15 and shouldnt be held responsible.
the frame was here but i fear it got taken in a box of raw cocker parts nate picked up the other day.
i wouldnt use your led, as ive had plenty, and still have a couple leds.
nate would lie to me about what you said, and then tell you some story without even telling me what was going on, cept the fact the gun couldnt be done becasue of rusty, bent breach rods. and i didnt feel like spending a week just getting them out, and having to replace them.
ill addmit the gun got misplaced, i for a long time thought nate shipped it and sent the money back till you called the one day, way before any of this, then i was gone for awhile ect...............
your gun is back, it shoots better then it did, ill get the $ as soon as i can, if nate spits up what he owes me for the messes ive paid for (wich i doubt) ill get it sooner. and ill get my wife to see if nates got the frame (ill smack him if i see him, took all my power to keep from just going off on him today.)

wrongo, i am no longer there because i left on my own accord. I've told you that if i'm doing something wrong then I need to be let known so that i can correct the mistake and prevent it from happening again, you took the blame prettymuch for no reason at all...my parents hold me accountable for many things, and most of the things they dont hold me accountable for i hold myself to. you have nobody to blame but yourself for that one.

and no, i dont have his frame. i have one autococker frame in that box, and that goes to the system X. If I did have his frame it most certainly would have been in the mail by now.

i dont feel like arguing right now, and after this i'm not going to. you just about blew up on me because i wanted back what was rightfully mine...which first off you said i didnt pay for (lie, you wanted $50 to replace it, and i promptly forked it over last april). then you said that it wasnt going anywhere with me (again, i dont see why your saying that when you let me take it to pennsylvania with me, but why should it even matter when it's MINE to begin with?). then after that you said that i didnt pay for the work that was done (and what work have i ever paid for? are you going to charge me for the other things done to the angel?). and finally you said that i paid for a chrome one (again, another lie...if you want we can look up the bank records on my order to 888paintball, containing exactly one chrome jackhammer LPR...keep in mind this was back in late april)

i'm not going to badmouth you on a public forum...i'm above that. i'm not going to pass off blame onto others that i should take myself...as i'm above that too. If you have a problem with the way things are done then deal with it, dont just suck it up because you dont want to stir up a few waves...that's one of the most important things i've learned, and if i really did break so many things and it has happened exactly as you said then you obviously need to learn that lesson also.

That's fine if it was dust and what not. I really dont care. I want my stuff back. It has been over 6-months and I dont have all of my things back. You and Nathan have your own problems to work out and I really dont want to get involved in that. All I care about is getting my frame and money back. I told you I dont care about the other little stuff as I know I wont get that stuff back. First of all you lied to me several times on having my gun shipped, you can say it was because someone else was supposed to ship it or it got misplaced or whatever you want to say...the fact of the matter is I delt with you and your business. You should have the responsibility of handling my stuff, not dumping it onto others. Next you spent my money that I sent you and you dont have the funds to refund my money. Why you spent my money is beyond me, but whatever as long as you can pay it back...which obviously I have to wait until you get paid, and I guess we will see if I even get my money back then. As for my frame, you told me you would have it in the mail for me last week....but now all of a sudden you dont have my frame and nathan does? Come on this is some wacked stuff, the reason you told me that you didnt have it shipped last thursday was because you didnt have money to do it so you were going to try and borrow some money...but is the real reason that you dont know where my frame is? So here is what is up you either get me my frame back this week and my $125 when you get paid, or you replace my frame if you can't find it. I paid $100 for that frame 2 years ago and now you really can't find them so you either replace it or get me an additional $100 ontop of the $125 you owe me. You have 2 weeks to get this done. After that you are going to court. I am sick of argueing with you and trying to get my stuff back...if taking you to court is the only way to do it then I am going to. Now everyone can see this post and we can see if you hold up your end of the bargain and get my stuff back to me in 2 weeks or less.

Umm yeah they might be rusted in there...there not bent unless you bent them...and no you didnt feel like spending a week to get them out then replacing them, as I said not to do that because you informed me that you could bang them out and buy new ones, and I said I didnt want you banging on my gun....Make sure you get your facts straight to....

But like I said as soon as I get my stuff back I am done with you and your business. You can go on and continue doing what you do and stuff and I wont say another word about you, Nathan, or your business.
